Six-Point Creative Supports "Freedom of Speeches"
Released: September 1, 2008

Springfield, MA - The Springfield Public Forum has recently named Six-Point Creative Works as its new creative partner for the 2008 and 2009 seasons.

Working closely with the Forum management and supporters, Six-Point has developed a "Freedom of Speeches" campaign for the 2008 program series, emphasizing the two-fold mission of the Forum: accessibility for the public and bringing diverse, top-level speakers to the city.

Every year, the Springfield Public Forum brings world-class speakers to the city to spark thought, inspiration and public discussion. It is one of the few surviving lecture series in the nation offered free to the public.

This year's program promises to be especially exciting with a kid-friendly lecture by a cutting-edge roboticist, a look at global warming in the Antarctic by a National Geographic photographer, Rodger Mudd, Nina Totenburg and more.

The full schedule of events is available on the Forum's website.

The Forum has also recently expanded its educational outreach by creating the Public Forum Educational Partners program. Forum resources are now made available to local educators and students through curriculum guides, discussion groups, small question and answer sessions with speakers and student participation in Forum events and dinners.

Six-Point will continue to work with the Springfield Public Forum throughout the year to develop new branding materials that will help the Forum promote both its events and its mission in the community.

For more information on the Public Forum and its work, contact executive director Patricia Canavan at 413-732-2020 or  the Six-Point Creative team.
