Six-Point Hires Graphic Designer James Moriarty
SPRINGFIELD, MA – Holyoke resident James Moriarty has accepted the position of Graphic Designer at Six-Point Creative Works, a creative marketing and brand management company based in downtown Springfield.
Moriarty is a recent graduate of the New England Institute of Art in Brookline, where he majored in graphic design and earned a Bachelor of Science degree. He completed an internship at Six-Point as part of his degree program.
In his new position, Moriarty will provide design and production support for Six-Point customers in a wide range of industries.
“Jimmy’s design talent is very strong,” said David Wicks, president and creative director for Six-Point. “We were also impressed with his sense of purpose and initiative, and his strong commitment to returning to greater Springfield to begin his career.”
Moriarty graduated from Minnechaug High School, where his career choice was furthered by teachers who encouraged him to paint directly on school walls. During high school, he completed advanced placement courses at the Massachusetts College of Art and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and the New England Institute of Art.
